Welcome….
to my first blog! Mum said it would be a good idea to keep everyone informed of daily life on our yard from the horses point of view. And for some reason she has asked me to do it. I think she originally asked Percy but I think he is too busy, he’s been watching the Olympics all week, particularly the dressage.
Its been a strange week really, my good friend Tom left us to go to Newcastle with his mum. He arrived safely after being picked up in a fabulous Oakley lorry. It will be strange without him to play with but he did leave me his fly mask to sniff for when I get lonely. However, all clouds have a silver lining and I now have 2 very good looking ladies joined the team, and guess what????!! They are right opposite my stable so I can look at them! Ruby and Chloe. Chloe is a bit on the old side for me but Ruby is right up my street, young, sassy and orange! We will make a great couple. I have also moved next to Tilly, shes a right nag and always gossiping over the stable door. She went eventing on Sunday which gave us all a bit of peace and quiet. Boysi is getting quite boisterous in the field, I think his homepathic medication has kicked in and is feeling better, however Bert has threatened to hide the bottles if he doesn’t quieten down a bit. Pippa has been out show jumping today, god she really goes on, its all me me me, her and Tilly really do make a great team, I hope they aren’t up too late tonight chatting, I need my beauty sleep. Brandy is taking things easy at the moment, although she is off to camp next week, in fact, so is Tilly, a few nights off will be fab! Me and Percy are going up on a day trip to camp next week to jump round the showjumps, I expect Percy will get upset, he hates leaving the ground unless he is doing piaffe.
Well, I think that is all for now, I will be back on line next week to let you know how things are going. Have a good week all of you. lol B xxx

Percy Says: We’ll see who hates to leave the ground!, remember I used to be VERY good at show jumping and you seem to be quite good at hitting the the odd fence or three!?!

Will you stop insulting my boyfriend – he can prance sooooo much better than you. You Gingernuts are very annoying – I should know I live with one. I too am looking forward to a few days away at camp – well the social part at least, not the work!
